Okay, I'm admitting it. I hate perfect people. Perfect, skinny people who can cook meals for their families like a chef, decorate their home like Martha Stewart, photograph well, make motherhood look effortless, never have a bad day, always look fashionable, and who always finds time to do charity work. Perhaps that is why I love Lee Ann Womack's song "I'll Think of a Reason Later" so much.
Believe it or not, this song came out in 1998. I can't believe it has been that long ago already! Even though the woman in the song is talking about her ex-boyfriend's new fiance in the song, I can perfectly picture all the women I love to hate when I hear this song. You know who I'm talking about...and I know I'm not alone in my "I'll think of a reason later" way of thinking. So crank it up and get your dart board ready!
A broadcasting mom has decided to take her "show" to a blog and gear it toward the average mom who may or may not like country music. You'll get interviews, reviews, recipes, everyday life, and hopefully have some fun!

Happy Valentine's Day!
This year, I decided to skip the fanfare and do something very simple for my loved ones...bake. You know how the story goes, "the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach." Since I have nothing but boys around here, I figured I couldn't go wrong!
I put an easy spin on the traditional blossom cookie by placing milk chocolate hearts in the center of the cookie instead of a Hershey's kiss. It makes it even more special when you are allowed to eat one for breakfast!
I used this recipe from Better Homes and Gardens. It is my go-to cookbook!
